Faculty Research Incentives

 

          The University, by means of its OPCOMs, offers a number of incentives to promote the culture of research among its academic personnel. All these fall under the University's Professional Development  Program (PDP): 

 

         Faculty Development Grant

The grant is open to all full-time, permanent Professors and Senior Instructors, who are invited to present scholarly paper in a foreign or local conference.  (Faculty Development Application Form)

Teaching de-load 

Three to six unit de-loading is granted to Assistant Professors with approved research work.  In order to merit teaching unit de-loading, professors have to submit their project proposals to the CAS OPCOM through the Vice-Dean of Research and Publication.
